My Background
Since I was young I can remember appreciating good photographs. Over the years, I have gained experience photographing many different subjects, scenes, and moments. Increasing my photography knowledge is important and I regularly attend classes that build on my skills. My photos have been published in Wild Planet Magazine, hung in hospitals in Malawi, India and Nepal. I have also been published in other local calendars, as well as displaying my art at local art shows. In 2022, my photo squirrel snack was a finalist in the IPA photo awards. My early career was working as an Environmental Scientist in the field contracting for different government agencies. Exposing the world to the beauty that surrounds us is important to me to help raise awareness of our environment and conservation.
Photography as Communication
I believe that a photograph can have a whole story within it, as well as a mood or feeling. Rather it is catching a subject candid or planned, I have the experience to create the photograph you are looking for. I enjoy getting to know my clients and their personalities so I’m able to better capture each person’s unique character. I’m here to work for you and want to hear exactly what you’re looking for so I am able to produce a product you are pleased with.
