Now Booking Class of 2023 Seniors! Limited Spots!
Sometimes things happen that are out of our control, so I leave openings in my schedule to account for incidental weather and sickness. Reschedules due to sickness are offered one time, to be respectful of everyones time.
When reserving a session I ask for a deposit to put you on the calendar, the deposit is 50% of your chosen package. The rest of the session fee, and if ordering prints is due upon delivery.
I accept PayPal, Venmo, Cash and Credit Cards.
I offer discounts for early bird booking of 20%. After the early bird discount has passed, if you book with me and refer a friend that also books a session, you both receive a 10% discount on the session fee.
Absolutely! Please bring the yearbook stipulations and information about where to submit with you to your session so I am able to capture some images with those specific details.
I would encourage you to bring props to the session that you feel incorporates who you are and what you enjoy. These props could be anything from sports gear, musical instruments, letter jackets, or your favorite pet as long as there is someone there to watch the pet after the pet photos are done.
Uploading and a preliminary edit of the images to remove those with eyes closed etc. typically takes 7-14 days. These images will be available for you to view at your home on your own private page via a link sent to your email. After viewing your images, you will choose the photos that you are interested in. At that time I will go through them and do final edits ie. blemish removal etc. Depending on the amount of photos and edits required, the turn around time is typically two weeks to receive final products of digital downloads and prints that are ordered.
If you feel that bringing a friend will help you relax and crack jokes to make you smile, I'm all for it! The session will be mainly focused on you, but I do not mind taking a few photos of friends together. If you want a whole best friend session, we could definitely book a separate session for that too.
There are a few locations that I feel offer great backdrops. Some of those locations include the Butterfly Pavilion (outdoors), McKay Lake, Stearns Lake, Josh's Pond, Brunner Farmhouse, Siena Reservoir, Denver Botanical Gardens, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the RiNo District (more urban feel). If there is someplace you would like your photos taken, I'm open to those suggestions as well.
Please remember these suggestions are only that, suggestions. Usually, I will recommend one casual and one dressy outfit. Typically, solid colors photograph a little better than busy prints. However, an outfit you feel great in will reflect in your photos. Choosing similar tones for the top and bottom work well (both dark or both light). Some colors that photograph well are earth tones, jewel tones, grays, and whites. Ladies keep in mind that there may be wind blowing if you're choosing to wear a short dress and may limit our posing options. If you're having a hard time choosing which outfits, bring several different ones to the shoot and you can choose then. Sometimes the environment we are in will help you make that final decision. Wear a comfortable pair of shoes as we will be doing some walking to get different perspectives, you can always carry the formal shoes and change right before we start photographing.
